This is a sad pet story that affirms the loyalty of pets to us. There was a pet owner who embarked on a short journey accompanied by his pet. He came to a small river and decided to quench his thirst. He took a small container from his bag to fetch some water. Every time he attempted to drink, the dog knocked the water off his hands. Then he would run off. This continued until he became exasperated. He took a big stick and struck the dog dead. Moving some distance, he looked over his shoulder to see a huge poisonous snake upstream rotting in the water. The dog was trying to prevent him from drinking the poisonous water.
