I am very parital to American Short Hairs. I know it's the most common breed ever, but it's still my very favorite. Heart

I'm not super big on Maine Coons or Persians, mostly because of the floof and also because every Maine Coons and Persians I've meet all have bad personalities.

Whats your favorite breed? Popcorn
For all my life, I've had just Tabby's. I've had a Black Tabby, Gray Tabby, Red Tabby and last year, I thought I had a Blue Tabby from the shelter, but they labeled him wrong. Wolfy is not a Blue Tabby and instead, a Russian Blue. We realized the difference when his fur became shinier, his eye color changed to yellow, his behavior had been different from Tabby's in general and how large he had gotten.

Although it was an extreme difference, we're glad that we got him and that the shelter made a mistake. We wouldn't want him any other way. So as of right now, Russian Blue's are my favorite cat breed and Tabby's are a close second. Smile
I just love Persian cats ! I think they just have the most awesome faces, and such a unique personality. I have had several Persian cats, and they were all highly intelligent individuals, with their own special ways about them.
One of my favorites was a Himalayan, which is like a Persian cat with Siamese coloring and markings on the feet and ears. This cat just showed up at the house one day, and adopted me; as cats are sometimes apt to do. I lived out in the country, and had catfish ponds out behind the house where I enjoyed going fishing.
Besides the catfish, there were some bluegills, which were eager biters on almost any bait, so I caught quite a few of those. "Mr. Fisher", as he came to be called, loved to go fishing with me, and we would sit on the dock together and wait for the fish to bite, and he eagerly watched me reeling in the little bluegills, which he got to eat.
Soon, he learned to watch the bobber, and could tell as soon as it began to wiggle that we had a fish, and would jump up and start waiting for his dinner to be reeled in.
He was a very smart cat, and a great fishing partner.
Russian blues are my favorite breed. I love the appearance of their furcoats and their faces have a very funny, chilled out expression. I don't know what you call them but I also like orange/red cats, they are always very social and outgoing, at least in my experiences with them.
