This is am amazing story !
We often hear stories of family dogs saving a child from drowning, or alerting the family when the house is on fire, or biting an attacker; but here is a really brave little (or maybe not so little) kitty cat that came running to the rescue when the neighbor dog attacked the little boy.
The video shows the child out on his little tricycle, the neighbor dog comes out of its own yard, and either hears or senses the boy playing in his own driveway, and then goes around the car and attacks the unsuspecting little boy.
As he is dragging the child, the cat coms racing out and attacks the dog, and chases it back to its own yard.
We don't really see cats as protective of people, but this one certainly is ! !

Wow, that's really awesome! I love any story with cats behaving in unexpected, good ways. I had a dog once save me when I was little but this is even more awesome. I wish my cat would do that kind of stuff Big Grin
I saw that video and it was truely amazing. When I was a teenager I had a cat that would perch on top of the cabinets next to the back door. One morning before school, my boyfriend just walked in the back door to pick me up to walk to the bus stop. My cat pounced down on his head and dug in the claws on all four feet! The commotion had everyone in the house in the kitchen. One of us held onto the cat while the rest of us slowly removed his feet from the poor guys head. Needless to say, he never did that again!! The same cat used to perch on the edge of the roof of the house and wait for any unsuspecting dog to wander into the yard. He would wait for it to get close enough then pounce down and ride on its back all the way down the street, claws dug in. The poor dog would be howling all the way!!
What a video that was!!!
I think that courageous cat took some of the stereotype-cat ideas and threw them away. Thank you for sharing!
