I saw this photo on the Facebook in my news feed. Apparently someone had found this colorful lizard from a construction site. As you can see in the photo, it is really tiny compare to the human hand it is sitting on. The little creature is also very colorful.

I wonder what species the lizard is. Can anyone please identify it?



The size and colors make it an ideal pet lizard in my opinion.

This colorful little fellow looks like a blue tailed skink. They are usually found in the southern states and make wonderful little pets.

He looks like a juvenile southeastern five lined skink.
