RE: Is your pet nosy? - trishgl - 05-18-2013 My chow certainly is. Every time someone comes through the front door with a package her nose will lead her to it. It does not matter if its food or clothing she'll want to smell it. RE: Is your pet nosy? - ReneLeBeau - 06-04-2013 Both of my cats are very nosy ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Is your pet nosy? - TreeClimber - 06-06-2013 I'm glad to see there are other nosy pets out there! My Lab was not like this. She could really care less what the humans were doing unless there was food involved. My Jack Russell is different though. I brought the mail in today. She waited at the door and would not leave me alone until she could smell it. When my sister stopped by last night, she had some things to show us. Misha popped her head in and out trying to see what we were looking at. She really is too much! RE: Is your pet nosy? - Babble64 - 06-07-2013 LOL....our apple head Siamese cat certainly is nosy. I tell her she embodies the phrase "Curiosity killed the cat." Anytime you open a door, whether it's to a room or a cabinet or what-all, she has to get in there and check things out. It doesn't matter if she's been in there before, or if she doesn't have any room to move around. Open door, in she goes. When she first came to live here I didn't realize this about her. I'd opened the cabinet under the sink where her food was kept, filled her dish, put the food back and closed the door. Silly me! A little while later my hubby and I were chatting and I kept hearing thumping. Sure enough, she'd climbed in under the bathroom sink, somehow managed to fit into a tiny space and I didn't even see her when I shut the door. She was banging around in there trying to find a way out. I'm more careful now but she still outsmarts me now and then. A couple of days ago she decided to pull open a kitchen cabinet and climb inside. Childproof locks on that one now! |
