Home grooming is somewhat necessary when you have long haired breeds. I have a Shih Tzu and it's expensive to spend so much on grooming. Sure, a good pair clippers may be expensive but it's a great investment for owners who need to pay constantly for grooming services, so are the shears used in this video.
Here's one with some tips on how to properly hold them. Of course, the demonstrator in this picture has such a good Shih Tzu to groom that it hardly fusses. Something a lot of conditioning and treats can do.
