Where to buy live feeders for reptiles? - lwilson3 - 01-10-2013

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good places online (preferably in the midwest, I live in IN) to buy feeders? We are always buying dubias and crickets, and sometimes we also buy phoenix worms and super worms. I've been using eBay but I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions of good feeder breeders. Smile Thanks in advance.

drfosterandsmith is a very good online store for pet supplies as well as the live feeders you have requested. They usually have the cheapest prices you can find with the best quality and customer services.
I have shopped from them many times with good experience. Highly recommended. Thumbsup

I like drsfostersmith.com, i've never ordered live feeders from there though. The best sites I know of are:

http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com

They have good prices, are good with shipping, almost everything arrives alive, and they have a great selection, Crickets, superworms, silkworms, butterworms, waxworms, hornworms, mealworms, repti-worms (black soldier fly larvae, like phoenix worms, different "brand".) I do like the phoenix worms better though. They also have good combo deals.

Most of the silkworms you buy anywhere else come from these guys to begin with, including mulberry farms apparently. They also sell hornworms and phoenix worms.

Buying live feeders from ebay kinda scares me. I suppose if you research and know who the seller is, but who knows if these guys are feeding the insects properly, or if they are just buying the 1000 count cricket boxes from ghann's or another cricket farm and letting them sit in the garage and die until they sell them.
