Dispute resolution - remnant - 07-03-2016 Just like us humans, pets have their fair share of disagreements and disputes especially when it comes to the issue of food. Dogs for instance are known to be protective of their turf when it comes to food issues and this is the number one cause of quarrels. It gets worse in birds due to the fact that they have a tendency towards cannibalism when one of them is pecked and develops a wound. The rest might interpret this as food and countless birds have died this way. Sometimes its hard to intervene because you might be viewed as an intruder. I posit that the best way to prevent these rivalries is to feed animals at the same time and try to separate the offending ones from the rest. This is because some animals go without food because they are not aggressive enough. |
