How long can a bottle of opened whiskey and Vodka last? - Thor - 04-01-2012

So I have opened a bottle of whiskey and vodka about 5 months ago, and they have been sitting in the fridge since I do not usually drink. Are they still good?

Alchohol is a preservative. As long as it's capped tightly so it doesn't evaporate, it will last a LONG time. I was going to be silly and answer; How long will it last? Depends on how many people you have at the party!

You are right. Smile
I haven't had a party here for a very long time. Remember I am not at home?

Any liquor can't go "bad". If it was a 25 year old bottle of scotch, it will loose some of the aromas and flaours thet were there after 6 months - 1 year, but it will still be "good".
