I have used a few similar tools for my Tervuren. It is always a battle keeping a perfect coat on him and I have always looked to find tools that would speed up my brushing time and get rid of that old hair.

I think that the de-shedding tools like you posted are all pretty much the same. Seems there is little to no difference in the overall construction of the comb. The names are just different.

I like the tool and it works well but my baby doesn't like it too well. However...My Tervuren has a massively thick, multi-layered coat. Everything pulls at the the fluffy cotton layer closest to his skin so I have to be very slow and gentle. On the other hand, my German Shep doesn't mind it at all, but her coat is very different than that of my Tervuren.

If your baby has a moderately thick coat, I think this tool would work for you. It is much more difficult to use on an extremely thick coat. They do work fairly well thoughSmile

Sorry I do not have personal experience with this dog brush nor I have a dog to begin with. However from the look of it, you already have the answer from your own link.

I see 7 customer reviews on Amazon under this product. 6 out of 7 reviews gave it 5 out of 5 star ratings, and the remaining one rated it 4 out of 5. Just read their reviews. You can't go wrong with it when the average rating is over 4. $23 isn't a lot of money either. Smile

Looks the same with furminator but I prefer the branded one better. I wonder if that would be good for my aunt's great pyreness, Holly, at 2 years old she almost shed whole year round and gives a blizzard when she blow coat. The vet recommended this miracle de-shedder (largest one) for her we got from http://www.petstreetmall.com
