What kind of Flea and Tick medicines/shampoos? - PrideKidd - 02-17-2015

Hello Pet Lovers,

Thought I would ask a question. Which kinds of medicines & shampoos do you use to get rid of your pets flea and ticks? We use Frontline plus for our beautiful girls, it seems to work just fine, but there might be a better one out there that I do not know about.

Any ideas?

Yes, Frontline Plus is one of the best I suppose but apart from this I also prefer Choostix dip tick and flea shampoo (http://www.petsworld.in/choostix-tick-and-flea-dog-shampoo-200-ml.html) and Revolution (http://www.revolution4dogs.com) to clean pet’s flea and ticks. These are mild and effective.

Frontline just doesn't work for my dogs and cats anymore. I don't understand why! We have started using a daily dose of Brewer's yeast for our dogs, and flea collars for our cats. They work pretty well so far.

Pet shampoo for dogs and cats is not the same as shampoo for people. Human shampoos are designed for a more acidic skin with many sweat glands and are often too harsh for pet skin.
