I'm just curious do you care about the brown patches in your lawn created by your dog doing it's toilet stop?I don't really mind I just see it as part in parcel of pet ownership.

I would cover it up lol.
Yes, it is something you should prepare for as you own a dog.

It used to bother me, I used to spend loads of time and money trying to keep the lawn nice but I've given up now. It actually started to look better since I gave up! Gen068

I dont really mind but I do try and stop it. I use lawn Guard Chewables, it's worked great for me this far! And the doggies love them, cheese flavor.... Yummmmm! Its a 2 in 1. Eliminates the damaging of your yard and a delicious treat! A good deal if you can find them on sale like i did, 30% at Dr's Foster and Smith! Clap

I honestly don't mind it all that much. Growing up my mother would use the backyard for our dogs to go to the toilet as she didn't want brown patches on the front lawn that guests will see. There are ways of dealing with this problem. You could take your dogs to toilet behind a shed in the yard he he he.

In all the years and different varieties of dogs I've owned, I've never really noticed the dreaded brown spots. Could it be a result of what we feed our dogs or what is in the water they drink - all of which can change the pH of their urine?
