The IT Crowd - Mantis - 05-19-2012

If anyone doesn't watch this hilarious comedy show, I'd suggest checking it out. Here are some of my favourite clips... Big Grin

I can't recommend this series more. I realise a couple of references you US folks might not understand, but hopefully the majority of it will be understandable.

Absolutely love The IT Crowd. There's just too many scenes that are funny and to pick out a few will do injustice Big Grin

Moss is my favorite character is Moss, he's that certain person that is very smart but is completely out of his element with interacting with others or just the basic outside world.

I'm not sure whether my favourite is Roy or Moss. They're both really funny. Now I'm thinking back to the scene with Roy; "I'm not a window cleaner!" I'd say Moss is your typical nerd. He is extremely intelligent, has some autistic traits, and is highly knowledgeable in various subject areas, but lacks the ability to socialise nearly completely. Roy on the other hand is a typical geek. In other words, he does have a lot of tech knowledge but isn't as intelligent as a nerd and isn't highly knowledgeable in specific subject areas, such as programming. He also, whilst rather quirky in character, has the ability to socialise.

Then again, the words "geek" and "nerd" are being redefined by hipsters...
