Can reptile pets recognize their home? - Ram - 05-31-2012 Can reptile pets recognize their home? If you do not use a cage or other types of enclosure, will some species of them stay at home without attempt to escape? I remember in the movie Terminator, Sarah Connor had a pet lizard. It was not caged and it was left free roaming in the house. RE: Can reptile pets recognize their home? - amanda509 - 05-31-2012 yep. i used to free range some of my chameleons, which is just a couple trees and plants in the corner of a room. rarely ever did they stray from that area, and if they ever did, they quickly returned by nightfall RE: Can reptile pets recognize their home? - Ram - 05-31-2012 Sounds like they don't move around much at all. Do you leave them in a single closed room or let them wonder around the whole house? Do you close the door and the windows?
