A Human Taste Tests Delicious Dog Foods - ACSAPA - 07-23-2012 Hi guys, I found this article where a dog loving journalist in Japan taste tested 3 dog foods. He said he snacks on these with cold beer. Myself, I have never tasted any of the pet food which I have bought for my cats and dogs. However, my father had tried some of the dog biscuits and he told me that they were rather nice to eat. I imagine pet food should be safe for human consumption. It does remind me though of something my friend told me last year. Her daughter was marrying a guy from England and his family came here to Michigan for a couple weeks to stay for the wedding and preparations beforehand. The father picked up some crunchy treats off of the dining room table to nibble on before dinner. He later told my friend about eating them and realizing they were cat food, not human food. She feeds her cats on the table so the dog doesn't eat the wrong food. So on the wedding day, everyone had little favor bundles of candy and mints at their seats - except the father of the groom; he had a bundle of kitty kibbles! I couldn't believe her teeth were strong enough to chew through them. I remember years ago, I tasted dog food. We were giving our Collie canned food for awhile. I have no idea why I decided to taste it. It was the saltiest food that I have ever eaten. I only had a small bit and that was enough. I hope they have improved it since the 1980s.
