The daddy leopard gecko is licking his eye. That is one cool photo. How did you catch that moment? Thumbsup

Do they do that often? I mean the act of licking their own eyes. What is it for by the way? "There is something in my eye!" or "My eye is a little dry"? Big Grin

Great photo!

Is sparky eating will at least? I saw your post over at the other place, (your right btw, that is a very catty group,) did you ever get a clear answer? I doubt he's an enigma. Did you take him to a vet? And do you have any pics of the two little ones?

I think that is one of the coolest gecko pictures that I have ever seen! What an awesome job on the photography! I am glad the baby geckos are doing good as well. It is always great to hear that the baby animals are doing well. It is so sad when some of them can't make it. I used to have a gecko, which I loved. Unfortunately, with the climate change in our new house, it didn't make it. Sad

yes, sparky has eaten, not as well as spock because everytime he tries to focus on prey, his head twitches to the side and he has to refocus, but i did find poo in his tub today so he has eaten something. that other place is nuts -.- i did finally get an answer, after being attacked and having to defend myself soo many times..but even then, the answer i got at chameleon forums was much more helpful. it is not because he's enigma, it is because i had a range of temps the babies incubated at, 86-90, and i found out gecko eggs should never fluctuate more than one degree, and it is clearly neurological, so tada! i have my answer and now i can fix that and make sure other babies dont turn out this way...i didnt go to the vet, but i did email my vet with the video and symptoms and he said yes, deff neurological, but he cant help him.

soo heres some pics and vid if anyone wants to see "special ed's" special run Wink
