finally, after 10 minutes of hit and miss, he finally got hunting down to a science Wink when he tries real hard, he can focus and hunt quite well!

That's cute. And SpEd is gorgeous. I think he'll be alright, with just a little extra tlc, not even a whole lot soon. Maybe try easier prey to, mealies or waxworms, butterworms, etc...

he has a whole bowl of mealworms, but they dont catch his interest very easily, he loves the crix, and he is getting the hang of pouncing on them, its soo cute, both babies inherited their father's "tail shake" when they hunt. for some reason, alot people say theirs dont do it :/ i wonder how much his color is going to change..he's deff a norm, but ive never seen one with such a broken pattern before!

Nice video. Was its first time eating? Poor cricket though. Tongue The other smaller one was so scared.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing, wouldn't worms be easier to catch?

The leos with the broken our irregular patterns are called "jungles". Irs not a single gene, more of a polygenic trait. I like the stripedy ones. Wink
