How much time do you spend on your pets daily? - Ram - 03-06-2012 Like the title said. How much time do you (currently) spend on your pets every day? (Yes, on all of them). Currently I only have fish, and I would spend up to 30 minutes on them every day when I am not doing the maintenance. Feeding does not take more than 2 minutes daily. So majority of the time I spent is just for watching them. It is said that watching an aquarium can stabilize the mood and blood pressure. I can feel it! During the weekend, I do 30% water change to all my 4 tanks, which would take me less than one hour for that. Every two months or so, I clean my canister filter within 20 minutes. There are other occasions where I need to do a little gardening in my aquariums, because 3 of them are planted. When I had birds during my childhood, I would spend average 1 hour on them daily. Feeding, playing with them, or at least I thought I was playing with them haha. RE: How much time do you spend on your pets daily? - bw - 03-06-2012 I have three cats and a dog. Between feeding, cat boxes, playing with, walking, grooming 3 hours is a guess, maybe not high enough. As they are all indoor pets they get talked to and the passing stroke even when the focus is not on them 100%. |
