I'm worried if Onyx had hard live without tarsus-legs... But, he is ok eat and move. But, a bit hard grab or climb. If can't re-grow legs. Sorry bad english. RE: Beetle's lost legs. Help! - Thor - 12-19-2015 Hi EzziB, welcome to the forum. While your beetle won't regenerate the lost limb, it will most likely survive just fine as long as it is eating normally. Best luck to you and your beetle RE: Beetle's lost legs. Help! - remnant - 04-24-2016 Welcome to the forum and feel at home. Make sure that the terrarium is padded with soft material like dry sand so that the beetle would not be injured in case of a fall since it has lost its supportive functions. Make sure the water provided is not deep enough in the container because it may drown and it doesn't have wriggling capabilities as well as spending some time checking it for any discomfort that may be occasioned by the tenuous state obtaining from its handicap. |
