Do you clip your dogs nails?

We usually get our dogs nail trimmed for free at the vet . I have bought those as seen on tv battery operated nail clippers with a rotary sander head inside and a guard so you can only put the dogs nails so far into the machine where it safely grinds down the dogs nail without hurting it. We have also been to a pet expo and saw people clipping dogs nails with a dremel. I think I will pick up a dremel from Home Depot so I can use it as a tool and a nail clipper.
