I Haven't Seen Any Rat Owners On Here Yet

I own a beautiful, cream-colored rat named Persephone. I've kept many different species (I have an extreme love for animals) in the mammal, bird, reptile and fish kingdoms but rats are my favorite without a doubt. I can trust her to run around the house on her own because she always sort of gravitates toward me and I love to take her out in public when she's riding in my clothes. I only wish that rats had a longer life-span. Are there any fellow rat owners on here? What do you like most about your rat(s)?
