Jessica Biel practices animal cruelty...
I just recently read in the news that Jessica Biel has come under criticism from animal lovers after some pictures surfaced of her dogs wearing shock collars while she was walking them. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake own both a Pit Bull and a Boxer. What do you guys think about this? In my opinion, I think media should back off with all the accusations against Jessica. I feel that she is just being a responsible pet owner and is just taking normal precautions while walking those particular breeds in public. Those breeds get so much media hate as it is and she probably just didn't want to take any chances.

So many people claim that both those breeds are naturally aggressive and mean, when in reality it is all in how they are raised. With that being said, you still have to take precaution. If you see the pictures, you will see that both of these dogs are very big dogs and are obviously very strong. In the event that for some reason either one of these dogs, or both dogs, wanted to go after something, someone or another dog, Jessica clearly would have a difficult time controlling them and holding them back. This is when the shock collars would be used to safely avoid a potentially bad situation. You never know what will provoke a dog. Not just a boxer or pit, ANY dog. ANY dog can snap and attack. Naturally some attack results or more severe than others when you are comparing the damage that a 3lb chihuahua can do with a Pit. I think pet owners and animal lovers just need to use a little common sense sometimes.
