Hi all, sorry but I can't create new posts.

I've had parakeets years ago, but I'm now looking at my first parrot.

Any advice where to start. I was thinking of a cocktail or a conure.

I already have a very large cage.

Have you thought about Budgerigar? Or budgie. They are one of the smallest parrots, and they can be trained to TALK! Check this thread out. There is also an article in the bird section on basic care.

Budgies are easy to take care of compared to many other birds. What's more? They are small, less demanding. You can get them for around $35 (at least that's the price I last saw lol).
Look for what food to buy for him, how many hourse should he sleep
