This dragon butterfly is Keena, who was bred by one of my friends Smile

Nice betta!

Although I have never had one myself, but from what I've seen so far I like halfmoon.

Do you have any experience in breeding them?
I imagine it would be a nightmare since you can't have them in the same tank once they get a little bigger.

Keeping a single betta doesn't require much at all.


Just get a minimal 5 gallon tank. 10 gallon would be better and actually does not cost much more. You can get a 10 gallon glass tank for around $12~14, while a 5 gallon tank would cost around $11. So I'd rather get a 10 gallon unless the space at home is an issue.
The rest things you need are simply a heater and a filter, a thermometer. Air pump is not required with betta, since they breath air.
Easy to take care off, and you will have a dog in fish's body. Cool


They look nice and beautiful.Seldom people raise them in our country.It will be hard for me to get them.But it's enough for me to have look at those beautiful pictures.
