I first read that article several months ago and found it quite fascinating. The article states that a strange animal was found in Texas that was suspected of being that animal that killed livestock and punctured holes in their necks in order to drink their blood.
The animal was linked to the famed "el chupacabras" or "goat-sucker" of Latin America that was supposed to be anything from a cryptid animal to some kind of blood-sucking alien. The chupacabras was supposedly the creature that killed livestock at night and drained all the blood like a mythical vampire.
The question is, is the blue dog-like animal found by the Texas rancher a real chupacabras? Or is it merely a dog or coyote suffering from mange, a skin condition that causes the hair to fall out and the skin to become coarse, greyish and elephantlike?
