Cats and Christmas trees
My kitten just recently started to jump into my Christmas tree. She just sits in it! We have a fake tree and I'm not really sure what is so tempting about it to her. We have had it up for two weeks now and this is the first day that she has done it but she won't stop. I keep telling her no, and take her out of the tree but she still doesn't get it! Anyone else have cats or kittens that won't leave your tree alone and what do you do about it?

RE: Cats and Christmas trees
I wanted to add this to my previous post. I guess it is a lot more common then I thought for cats to sit in trees lol. I suppose I thought it was weird since I hadn't had any cats in the past do it. They have swatted at the ornaments and stuff but that is about it.

RE: Cats and Christmas trees
I only experienced the whole cat and Christmas tree thing once because after a while in my household we just stopped decorating but it was a hilarious experience. My cat would knock all of the balls off the bottom of the tree and play with those and then she would try to climb the tree but would get stuck, luckily the tree was fake.
