This is Louie. (My mother wanted to name him Louis John de Catastrano in honor of the saint of similar name whose feast day we found him on.) We found him outside of our elementary school when my little brother was in first grade. The teacher had brought him in so he wouldn't get squished by cars, and as we'd just lost a different grey tabby my mom couldn't part with him.
Louie is about 8 years old (I hope I'm doing the math right -- brother is a high school junior this year)
Also he's ridiculously photogenic and hands-down my favorite photog subject.
