Welcome! I love your sense of humor and writing style. Right now I have a long haired cat that's blowing coat, except it doesn't shed on it's own. If I don't comb him daily and get it all out, it mats. The rest of the year Combing every other week is more than enough. But spring...! So you're in northern CA?
