My oldest dog, coonhound mix, I got from the pound.

Our second dog, a terrier mix, we got from a bad home - she had been hit by a car and the owners didn't want her anymore.

Then our third dog, a beagle, followed us home late one night a couple days before christmas. She must have followed the tire tracks in the snow.
