I keep my chihuahua's purebred, I like the breed as it is and they are more valuable that way, I do not inbreed, I am careful about that, when people purchase from me they are getting a well raised, healthy purebred and I doubt my doggies would end up in a shelter. Our family watch dog on the other hand is a big lovable mutt. She has boxer, neopolitan mastif, great dane and mastif bloodlines, she is the gentlest most patient creature with our children but is big and scary enough to give strangers second thoughts about entering our yard
