My father always brought home mutts from the shelter for us as pets so I'm not really picky about the breed or lineage. I've learned through the years that both mutts and pure breeds are the same when it comes to being loving, obedient and fun. It is a shame though that with all the dogs that need homes more people should consider adopting from a shelter instead of buying one.
