Moose wandering through Idaho town.
This has been a hard winter pretty much all over the United States, and many animals have moved closer to towns trying to find food to forage during the long, snow-covered months.
Spring is starting to come in the lower areas; but there is still a lot of snow out of the towns and up into the mountains. (My son just got his 4x4 truck stuck in the snow while on a drive with his family)
Now that plants are starting to spring up and turn green, the larger forest creatures, like deer, elk, and even the moose are sometimes seen wandering around the streets of smaller towns, looking for food.
This picture is of the Main Street of Sandpoint, Idaho; so the moose are not just on the side streets, but actually walking right through the center of the downtown area.

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.
