well, petco has agreed to take mars to the vet and his appt. will be tomorrow. when i handed him to the lady, his skin ripped, he was shedding, which i could tell from all the time he was spending in his moist hides and his color getting paler, but she said this was the reason he was not eating, but i explained to her, this does not explain why he was soo skinny to begin with. venus is doing good, she is using her egg laying bin as a litter box -.- go figure. but she is also starting to shed. figured id get in a small photoshoot while her man is gone :p
Wow - she is really BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous photos you got of her too! Great job!
I hope Mars will be okay. Let us know what the vet says after Mars is looked at.
I've never owned a reptile, but they are great looking creatures. :-)

What is with the hole near the end of the mouth? It looks like a gill. Or is it the sign of shedding?
the one behind her eye is her ear, and the one on the end of her nose is her nostril

I'm glad he has a vet appt, try to make sure they do a full fecal, float and smear if you can. Do you have a choice on the vet?
well, i didnt get to choose the vet or what they did to him, but i know he went to the blair animal hospital and they did a simple fecal. the staff said his health is clean and he is probably skinny due to the competition of food when he was housed with 4 girls there. he also just shed, so hopefully he will start eating soon...

i forgot to answer ur first question XD i have a Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS, its just a small digital camera that was around $125 at best buy..nothing special, but i know how to use it
Very good shots though! I really like eye shots myself, that's one my favorite things appearance-wise about all of the Morelia species. I'm glad your boy got a clean parasite check, hopefully it's just stress then. And some time, patience, & TLC will do the trick.
