That is such a beautiful story of how you helped out Stanley. I can't believe that there are some people out there that treat animals so poorly. Granted, there are many people who are just scared and they don't understand animals as much as they should, so they shoo them away, but that only makes things worse.

Stanley sounds like a wonderful dog and it's great that he had learned to trust you over the course of living with you!
