What is your favorite movie genre? I love horror with comedy being the second choice. My favorite horror movie type is survival horror more specifically zombie movies. I love the Resident Evil franchise.
I like anything with actions, science fictions. Anything in the line of Terminator, Star Trek, or super herors would please me.
Horror is only fine if it has to do with scifi, something like Aliens and Predators. I do not like to horror for the sake of horror. Although comedy can be a bonus if it is also presence, it takes a second seat if it is by itself. I can watch feeling good movies too once in a while if it is really that good.
My favorite genre has always been horror and sci-fi. While I love the newer horror flicks, I'm always a big fan of the classics starring Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. I also find that I love the "B" horror movies, the really cheesey ones like "Sharktopus" and others.
My favorite movie genre it comedy. I love to laugh. It makes me forget any of my troubles for a couple of hours. In a close second would be horror. But as much as I love a good scare, I find that as I'm getting older I can't handle it like I used to. I used to be able to watch all the gory parts of the Saw movies and eat dinner at the same time. Now those sort of scenes gross me out.
I think my favorite movie genre is the classic grand scale musicals. There was just something about how these films were made. I love the staging, the costuming and the performers in them. As for more contemporary genre I would have to say my favorite is romance, and perhaps fantasy.

I always love to watch movies similar to Saw series, which is really exciting. I was surfing to find out some similar movies to Saw and I found out Untraceable, The Collector which satisfied me in terms of suspense. But I dont rate another movie which can be compared with Saw.
