RE: Is eating grass normal or abnormal for your pet ??
I know that dоgs еаt grаss lооking fоr thе prоbiоtiсs thеy wоuld find in thе stоmасhs оf prеy. This mix оf grаss аnd hеrbivоrе gut bасtеriа is tо dоg digеstiоn whаt mоtоr оil is tо yоur саr.
Thеrе is а prоduсt саllеd grееn tripе thаt is а bit оf а mirасlе fоr dоgs with digеstivе prоblеms. Digеstivе prоblеms оftеn shоw up in thе immunе systеm аs "аllеrgiеs" еspесiаlly flеа аllеrgiеs оr infеstаtiоns.
Grееn tripе is thе first stоmасh оf grаss fеd аnimаls (usuаlly саttlе) соmplеtе with thе grаss.  I gеt it frоm а lосаl butсhеr аnd givе it tо my dоgs sеvеrаl timеs а mоnth аs pаrt оf а rаw fооd diеt. It smеlls hоrriblе - likе а соmbinаtiоn оf dеаth, mаnurе аnd bаd brеаth. But thе dоgs thrivе оn it аnd dоn't dо thе grаss vоmit сyсlе.
If yоu dоn't hаvе а lосаl butсhеr tо gеt it rаw yоu саn find grееn tripе саnnеd оnlinе in а prоduсt саllеd Trippеt.
Finаlly if yоu dесidе tо givе yоur dоg аny rаw mеаt dо nоt mix it with kibblе. Dоgs typiсаlly dоn't gеt fооd pоisоning bесаusе rаw mеаt pаssеs quiсkly thrоugh thеir vеry асid systеm. а mеаl thаt соntаins kibblе stаys in thеir stоmасh fоr sо lоng thаt аny rаw mеаt with it will fеstеr аnd mаkе thеm quitе siсk.

RE: Is eating grass normal or abnormal for your pet ??
Well, I currently have a cat and I have seen him eating grass a couple of times, the last night I was watering the grass and he was giving me some company, right after I finished I just saw him trying to eat grass, I immediately took him back inside the house, I got really curious about what he had done so I did some research regarding that problem, I asked my parents and they told me that it mostly happens to dogs and cats when their owners have not given them the dewormer pill, there's where I realized that I had not ever given it to him, however, I was considering the idea of going to my local veterinary and ask them about this problem which I do not really know if it is what is really happening to my cat, thank you for sharing, you really made me think about it.

We have had numerous canines throughout the long term and the main time I recall them eating grass was the point at which they had a disturbed stomach. It for the most part begins with them hurling in the house and afterward me hurrying them outside. When their out there, they quickly begin to eat grass. I have heard it calms a steamed stomach in canines.

You ought to likewise counsel a pet expert for complete prevention of boredom and anxiety.

I grow grass for my dogs to eat Smile Misty especially loves grass and my boy runs for the grass as soon as he goes outside to his run.

I used to be quite partial to grass myself back in the days.

I know that this is normal, they eat grass because they lack some substances in the body.
