My poor laborador!! He had some type of lump on the side of his face underneath his ear. I took him to the vet and of course they wanted to do some testing to make sure it wasn't cancerous. They put him on antibiotics first to see if that would take care of it and it didn't. So they removed it and sent it off. I waited five excruciating days to find out that it wasn't cancer. Thank goodness!! It was an abscess that somehow got infected at some point and created a bunch of scar tissue. So think positive if you ever have to go through anything like this!!
