Silly pet tricks/things they do
Does your dog do anything cool as far as tricks? I am talking beyond your every day run of the mill sit/stay or come. It doesn't even have to be a trick, maybe something that they do on command or by habit?

My girl Kash, she loves to talk when we come home. She has to run in the bedroom, jump on the bed, she lays politely wagging her butt, and if we don't turn around towards her she lets out these little moans. Then you turn around to her and ask her "What happened while I was gone?" and she will start talking LOL She just puts these odd sounding barks together and when she stops if you ask her what else? Or "really, Kash, are you sure?" She will start up again or just let out one little whine that almost sounds like yes.

Kotton, if you tell her "ugly face" she shows her teeth and growls...now of course my girlfriend has taught her "mean mommy" means the same thing. She also knows "Kiss mommy" "Kiss mom-mom (term for grandma on eastern shore)" "Kiss Uncle Whoever" and will run to the correct person each time.

And then there's Koko...LOL...she's "special" her cutest "trick" is at bedtime we tell her "Bedtime Koko go get a baby" and she will pick a toy and take it in on the bed and wait for us.

RE: Silly pet tricks/things they do
We had an overweight ravenously hungry beagle who was quite good at swiping food off the table. One year for thanksgiving, after we finished eating and made our way into the kitchen to start cleaning up we hear a crashing noise and a yelp. In the dining room, we had a lace table cloth. Well there was still plenty of food on the table including half a chicken and a bowl of mashed potatoes. She figured out how to pull on the table cloth to bring everything crashing down. We found her covered in mashed potatoes with her head buried in the chicken eating away.

LOL I would have loved to seen that!! Our dogs manage to get into some scrapes that if it were a child there would be a grounding taking place Smile

That's just priceless.

Some dogs will bark, howl or do something to get their owner's attention. Mine would stand up on her hind legs, scratch my shoulder (since I'm always sitting in front of the computer) twice or thrice with her front paw and if I ask her what, she'd lick my face. And if I ignore her, she would scratch my shoulder again once or twice and wait for me to look at her.

HAHA She's telling you "Hey mommy, remember me? Give me attention." Mine are much too short to tap me on the shoulder, even if I were to sit on the floor for them Rofl But that doesn't mean they don't do the "Give me attention" dance Dodgy

We have two cats: one cat plays fetch. He brings us the ball, we throw it, he runs after it and brings it back. He also likes to play soccer with the ball, but he has to be a goalie. He has fantastic reflexes.

Our other cat likes to try and catch the ball, but he can't do it like the older one, even though he tries. He also stomps on all of the toys he owns. It's quite cute. Not really a trick, but he poses very well for the camera - so does the older one.
