well, spock was rehomed lastnight. it was heartwarming and sad at the same time. a friend from school agreed to take him as a present for her 8 year old and also agreed to let me know if she ever cant care for him. im so happy he found a nice home, but im gunna miss the little guy!
anyways, his brother sped has turned into one handsome gecko!!! looking at photos of him when he hatched, and now, he doesnt even look like the same gecko!! i can count at least 4 different colors on him along with a little carrot tail and his crazy jungle pattern! he is still showing all his neuro issues, but is very healthy otherwise. i actually think there is a flap of clear skin over one of his ears messing up his balance, i had talked to a vet and they said they cant do anything now, but when he's bigger, they can remove it!!
also, i had taken my chameleon out for some sunlight today! he was a pain in the butt to get out..but once out, he was sporting some pretty awesome colors! my silly mom tried to feed him a strawberry, but only veileds eat fruit, he turned his nose up at it and walked away, keeping an eye on it the whole time haha!
this is what his colors look like when he is chill:
and heres what he looks like when he's excited! (taken today)
I see a half eaten strawberry. I was going to ask if it was you or the chameleon until I saw the part your mother was feeding it.
What do you feed to your chameleon normally?

thanks! i cant wait to see his colors as an adult! i hope he stays somewhat similar. and linus can range from yellows to blues. his turrets can get bright yellow along with his triangle pattern, but sometimes he even has blue hues around his head. and sometimes hes just plain dark green with black spots :p

normally he eats crickets. his species doesnt eat any sort of vegetation except maybe a habiscus flower, but linus has never eaten one. a veiled chameleon on the other hand has been to known to eat things like strawberries, cucumbers, and bananas. for example, the plant that i keep in linus's cage is actually somewhat poisonous to chameleons. but because he is not a plant eater, i dont have to worry. but if i had a veiled, i couldnt have that plant with it because they have been known to chew and eat their plants.
