Do you punish your pet?

Punishment is one way of teaching discipline to the dog. The usual punishment is the (soft) slap on the butt to call the attention of the misbehaving dog. And when a mischief is committed, we either tie the dog in a leash or place it in a cage for 1 hour. That would teach the dog to realize of his misdemeanor.

We don't have the heart to spank our dogs. Besides, hurting the dog would only make it more stubborn or mischievous. Worse, it may learn how to bite when he is punished by physical harm.
