We have been looking at daybeds, futons and pull-out couches to put in that room for occasional guests now. When my friend from New York came to stay with us last year, she got an uncomfortable air bed thrown in the middle of the other room where my computer, exercise bike, two parrots and another work desk with hubby's computer are in! Not a pleasant place for guests to stay in - but better than in the cat "bathroom" room! LOL
My friend was trying to get me to sleep in his "cat bathroom" too when I would visit, it was pretty rough because he's got 3 cats and it a very very small house. I opted to sleep on the couch instead, lol.
The funny thing is that he volunteers at a cat shelter too, and I guess he's so used to the smell he doesn't even notice it. I've gone in there with him some mornings to help out too and the smell almost knocked me on my back.
Glad you got everything straightened out with your cat. He probably really had to go too. I didn't realize they were that sensitive to changes. By the way, what does "DSH" mean?
