Inside or Outside Cat?

Boots is strictly an indoor cat, although he makes grand attempts to get outside and sometimes makes it if the door is left open a half-a-second to long. He is very hard to catch and usually is caught by the scuff of the neck and brought back in.

Fleas are so bad in our area and we live next to a very busy street. So the chance he could get hit by a car is huge. And we have lots of free-roaming cats in the neighborhood that do not always look healthy, so it is best to keep him inside.
