Inside or Outside Cat?

My parents have struggled with this issue. You put them at a bit of a risk if they go outside, fighting other cats, animals, etc. Especially since they live in a wooded area. But the cat they have that goes out was living outdoors before they took him in, so they hate to take that away from him since he loves being outside so much. I think you have to decide what's best for the animal, if he's gonna be sad locked indoors all of the time, probably should let him out. They have another cat too that's never been used to being outside and is perfectly happy inside, so they keep her in.
