Does dog food really matter so much?

Yes! Many dogs have food allergies and digestive problems. Majority of dogs skin and health problems are due to poor food quality or allergies. Did you know a lack of zinc in your dogs diet can cause a disease that makes their nose and paw pads grow thick hair like things? It is not cureable and you have to shave or cut off the hair like growths and moisturize the affected areas. Once I changed my dogs food to an all natural food with no grains or corn her health problems went away completely. Her coat became so shiny and soft it reduced the number of baths I had to give her and her breathe did not smell. Rachel Ray makes a cheap but healthy food that only has 6 ingredients. Blue Buffalo or Call of the Wild are also great. Grain and corn to dogs is equivelent to MSG for humans. It causes them to feel full only for a short time. Once you switch to a better food you won't be feeding them near as much, thus the higher price you are paying will be almost equal to the cheaper food as you won't have to feed them near as much.
