Pet sitters for your animals

Luckily my parents live about 5 minutes away from me so I have to go away for the weekend they can come over and feed my cat. The fish is fine without food for several days. If I end up having to go away for longer than a week I just bring my cat to my parents house and leave her there. She's not overly fond of it as they have 3 cats and a dog and my cat has severe only child syndrome but she's well taken care of there. I don't think I could ever trust a stranger that I found on craigslist or anywhere else to take care of my pets for me though.
