As far as I know lovebirds are supposed to come in 2s. I think your lovebird is said becuase it doesn't have a companion. I remember my uncle telling us before that we have to take care of the love birds that he gave us becuase he has noticed that when one dies, the other follows after a while. This has been his observation because he has lots of birds in his place. I think you should find your bird a companion. Make sure its of the opposite sex.
