Pet sitters for your animals

We usually don't go anywhere and have to leave the dogs with anyone. We don't really know anyone here, so I think we would ave to take them to a vet or boarding kennel if and emergency came up and we had to leave them somewhere.
Usually, if I go with my daughter out to visit my family in Idaho, then my husband is home, and e takes care of the dogs. When his father was dying, then he went there for a week or so, and I was home to watch after the dogs, so it has worked out ok for us thus far .
