Do you talk to your cat
Hi,

Yes it a weird question but I talk to my cats. The guy doesn't care at all, he just ignores me. The girl answers to me. It's cute and funny (and a little bit pathetic, I agree Big Grin). She waits until I finish my question and answers. She never interrupt me, she is so polite Big Grin . I must say she sound quite depressive but which cat does sound happy?

Well am I the only crazy person on this forum?

LOL - no, you're not crazy at all! Well, maybe you are, but then so am I! Wink
I've always talked to my cats! I have no doubt that they understand me and are spellbound to my every word!Big Grin
Out of my current three cats, two of them will talk back and answer me, and also initiate their own conversations with me. The little Tonkinese is mostly quiet. He does listen though, very attentively, when I talk.

I talk to both my cat and my relatives' dog that I take care of. I see them as family members and sometimes I think they look at me like they understand me. Rofl

No, you are not crazy to talk to your cats. I do talk to my cats. So do many of my friends who have cats. We also talk to our dogs. Do our cats and dogs understand what we are talking about? Yes, they do. Well, they do if you keep your sentences short and simple.

As for cats not sounding happy, I am surprised. I have had many cats before and they can sound happy just as much as they sound sad.

RE: Do you talk to your cat
Thank you, I am happy to know that I am not the only. To our defence cats and dogs have a smarter look on their face than some human being when we talk to them.

My cats also seem to understand what I say but by the look on their faces, I can say that they have a very poor opinion of me and the level of intelligence of my discussion, I might start more philosophic debates with them Big Grin
