Yes, it is nice to have a community tank where many species of fish live together and interact together. I love school fish because they stay in a group, and sometimes they chase each other for fun. I was wondering how they were able to tell which species themselves are and not following the wrong group.
Having one fish give you more of a chance to interact with the fish. Betta is definitely one of those fish species can actually interact with the owner, although not guaranteed.
