Tongue  Police rescued a hedgehog whose head got stuck in a yoghurt pot
Funny pictures I saw when I was reading the news.

A hedgehog got his head stuck in a yoghurt pot. He was probably trying to eat what little yoghurt left in the pot when digging through the trash bin in the neighborhood. Temporarily incapacitated, the hedgehog was wondering around aimlessly.

Lucky him, a patrol car spotted him first. Two police officers took a few funny pictures (we saw here) before set the little guy free.

RE: Police rescued a hedgehog whose head got stuck in a yoghurt pot
That is funny ! I am glad that the police saw him, and were caring enough to stop and rescue the poor little fellow. I am sure that he was glad to be out of the yogurt cup, too.
It reminds me of the little skunk that I found who had gotten himself into a trash barrel, and then couldn't get back out again. He didn't really want me to touch him, but he did want to get back out of the barrel.
I had read that a skunk has to be able to push with his front feet, and also get his tail straight up in the air, before they are able to spray you; so I was able to pick him up like you would pick up a kitten (scruff of the neck), and then cradle him in my arms while holding his tail down.
After I got him home, I fed him; which was also interesting. He wanted the food very badly, but he was also afraid of me, and wanted to let me know that he had "weapons". So, he curled his body into kind of a U-shape, and then would mince forward to get the food, while still trying to keep his tail pointed at me at the same time.
We didn't keep him very long, since he was a wild animal; but it was an interesting experience.
